Dracon was founded in September 1995 by Jacques Bélanger, General Manager. We produce custom-built electrical control panels and specialize in programming industrial interfaces, PLCs and robotics. As an SME in the Chaudière-Appalaches region whose expertise is recognized beyond Quebec and Canada, Dracon provides products and solutions that precisely meet the needs of its clients and is dedicated to adapting to market changes and emerging technologies.Dracon’s story1995Operations begin in modest facilities in Saint-Charles-de-Bellechasse, south of Quebec City.2003A new building is purchased in the Lauzon industrial park in Lévis. A promising business expansion begins.2008 and 2012The building is expanded in two phases to accommodate new resources hired to meet the growing demands of clients.2020The company moves to a new, modern building, doubling the surface area to meet its continued growth.2022While maintaining its corporate name and banner, Dracon joins the Guillevin International family, one of the largest electrical distributors in Canada, which is making acquisitions to diversify its business, notably in the automation field.2024In line with its development strategy, Dracon expands its building to meet the business' growth objectives, including investing in new segments.
